Onion Lake Cree Nation is located in Treaty Six territory straddling the Alberta and Saskatchewan Border.

We have taken significant strides towards long-term economic and sustainable development within our own natural resources. To support this initiative we have created the Onion Lake Business Development Corporation (OLBDC) which is responsible for the guidance and management of any economic development of the Nation.

The goal for OLBDC is to generate wealth for the community while maintaining professional and effective management of the business assets. All the companies involved are committed to seeking sustainable, profitable growth by conducting business with a high degree of ethics. Strengthening First Nation employment is one of the main objectives, but managing business in a manner which imparts value to the investment of business partners, and striving for a work environment which promotes fairness, dignity and respect for all are also key goals.

OLBDC currently oversees eight companies diversified in the business sector and all owned and operated by Onion Lake Cree Nation.

Beretta Pipeline Construction is a 100% First Nation owned company that provides reliable, customer focused construction services to the oil and gas, civil construction, and environmental industries. Established in 1977, Beretta has built a skilled, experienced, and diversified workforce and is the industry leader in practicing and delivering on First Nations capacity building and reconciliation principles.

Our services include facility construction and infrastructure services including road construction, utility installation, and environmental reclamation. We also produce and supply aggregate.
